HOW TO ORDER

Placing orders with Chrome Digital Press is easy.

One particularly easy solution is to choose from the many examples of photo books and cards on display at our Georgetown location. If you select one of our templates, all you need to do is choose your images and give us the order in which they will appear. We do the rest.

Start by selecting the type of cover from our large selection, which includes both soft and hard, and every material from suede to synthetic. You can also opt for custom wrapped and removable custom jackets.

Choosing the binding comes next. We offer perfect bind, floating spine, coil, saddle stitch or double wire, giving you total flexibility in binding choices and the size and number of pages in your book or document.

If you don’t choose our templates, you can simply start from scratch. We provide complimentary custom layout software (on CD or you can download from our website) so that you can design your own book, cards or calendar. This software is very user friendly and is compatible with Mac & PC platforms. If you choose this option, the completed file layout is sent to us over the internet and printed. You make pick up your order from Chrome, with no shipping and handling, or we will send to you via UPS or FedEx.

You can also prepare your layout in InDesign, Quark, Illustrator and Photoshop or send us a PDF. If you don’t have a digital file, we can even start with film or print originals, and scan your images in preparation for page layout.

Finally, if you have a custom publishing project that requires extensive design by a graphic designer, Chrome will refer you to a number of creative graphic firms that work with us and are set up to produce stunning layouts that will then be sent to Chrome for printing and binding. Our goal is to make this process as fun and easy for you as possible. Unlike on-line companies, our customer service representatives are available for personal or phone consultations. You will know exactly what to expect before placing your order. Custom publishing involves more decisions than a simple printing project, so we help you make the right ones every step of the way!
